PBS-A system chronology: Milestones and objectives achieved

PBS-A Labs is a company founded in Bilbao in 2019, with a strong potential for development. At first it came from a division founded in Gestima Solar. It was based only on an initial idea, and over the years it has become an independent project of that company.

The PBS-A started developing its own system in 2016. In November 2015, a company vehicle was immobilized due to a battery failure in the operating battery. It caused the electronics of the vehicle to stop working properly (ABS warning, injection failure, unresponsive electrical direction, etc.), so driving was very dangerous. As a result, the breakdown occurred at a motorway exit, allowing parking and technical assistance. The crane took more than two hours to deal with the breakdown, as it usually happens, it occurred at the worst time.

From there came the idea of creating a battery immune to common defects and failures, which would always make it possible to reach its destination, regardless of its condition: charge, partially unloaded, or even up to 0 volts. To this end, an intelligent management, control and energy transfer system (not a battery) was created. In the worst case scenario, with the battery at 0 volts, we'll have three days of extra used (based on the Run-Flat ideology of tyres). 

Subsequent developments created the first batteries with the PBS-A system, hybridizing a conventional battery with the system. Although the PBS-A by itself is capable of performing the proper functions of a battery system, it achieves significant improvements combined with another energy source
